![]() Welcome. Wilderness Point is a personally owned peninsula in North Western Wisconsin near the golfing community of Voyager Village and the small town of Webb Lake.
Our family has been offering vacation rental since we bought the cabins in 1998. We have had many wonderful sun-filled days and starry nights on this little piece of private land and hope your family will come and enjoy it too.
The property is on 1.5 acres of wooded land with approximately 700' of shoreline. Hanscom Lake is approximately 127 acres with a maximum depth of 11 feet. Fishing is excellent with the lake producing Northern, Bass, and Pan fish. We have a large sand beach and a small swimming area for those who like to get wet.
There is a Pontoon available for rent at $300 a week. There are rental motors for the fishing boats. The property is wooded land and an abundant wildlife population. We get visits from deer, raccoons, birds, eagle’s, chipmunks, and even an occasional bear down the road.
![]() In addition we have a nice sand beach the kids love to play in, and a fire pit for a campfire. There are frogs, turtles and little sun fish along the beach. There is a paddle boat (free). There are many places to eat like Lunkers Lodge (formerly Roamers Inn), or the Voyager Village county club. At Voyager they also have a putt putt golf course, a swimming pool, and a little play ground. There are small stores to stop at, and a little place that has ice cream. There are 3 casino's nearby Hole-in-the-Wall, LCO, and Grand Casino (Hinckley, MN 45min. drive) has daycare.
You can also bike, hike, 4-wheel, swim, fish, and take a walk. About 1/2 hour away there is a bigger town called Siren, with a movie theater and more shops. Oh, and there are strawberry, raspberries, blackberries and blueberry picking starting in July through Aug and into September about 1/2 hour away. You can rent a canoe or inner-tube and go canoeing on the Namekogon River or St Croix and there are thousand of acres of county, state and federal land with wildlife viewing areas.....
My father also shares his Canada cabin with others if you are interested.
